Who owns the intellectual property rights to a delivery

Posted on 2024-03-23 Updated on 2024-06-03

Buyers receive full intellectual property rights to deliveries. Whether it’s a soundbite, code, audio, or video, buyers may use order deliveries in any way, without restriction, from the moment the order is completed and funds are transferred to the seller.

Sellers sometimes use third-party resources to complete an order. For example, a seller might use WordPress to develop a website, or stock music in a video. In these cases, the delivery’s terms of use may differ, and it is the seller’s responsibility to notify the buyer of this.
